How we got here
From franchise floor to independent shop.
Pine & Trail Electric Bikes began as a franchise location in Central Michigan, serving a unique community of rural residents and college students. Seeking more flexibility, we wanted the ability to offer the bikes our customers requested, rather than being limited by franchise inventory.
So we relaunched, independent — with a focused lineup from Retrospec and Euphree. Same storefront, same faces behind the counter — with the freedom to recommend the right bike for your ride instead of the one we happened to sell.

Our customers split, roughly, into two buckets: CMU students wanting a smarter way to get to class and around town, and locals who've discovered that the rail-trails out of Mt. Pleasant are a lot longer when an electric motor's helping.
The lineup reflects that. A real entry-level Retrospec commuter — not a toy — at one end, and a torque-sensing Euphree comfort cruiser at the other. All sold and serviced under one roof.
